Death Valley offers hundreds of scenic trails of varying lengths and difficulties. Visitors can explore on foot, on paved roads, or by auto. The visitor center is located at the Furnace Creek Resort on State Route 190. Death Valley is only about 290 miles from Los Angeles, about 177 miles from Barstow, CA and 141 miles from Las Vegas, NV.
